Public Art Pieces
I have created public artworks throughout the Twin Cities areas. My first mural was created in 2016 in the now defunct Intermedia Arts center. Since then, I have created works for the City of Minneapolis through vinyl windows murals in 2020. I created a mural in the city of St Paul as part of the Chromazone festival and was commissioned by the City of Bloomington, both in 2021. I ended the year of 2021 releasing my Dakota Spirit Walk, an augmented reality public art installation located downtown St Paul, Minnesota.
Each works honors the history, culture and philosophies of Dakota people, connecting the past with the present. When creating a public work, I enjoy studying the community, learning the history of the location to create a piece that speaks to multiple layers of visitors.
With the exception of the mural created in 2016, all are currently on view.
