Dakhóta Gathering: Bringing Back Our Ways

A poster I created for the 2018 Dakota Omniciye at Bdote/Fort Snelling. The inspiration behind the piece is the elder showing the child a “traditional” doll version of herself. The traditional doll represents our old ways being passed along, and hence “oúŋyaŋpi kiŋ uŋhdúkinipi kte”, bringing back our ways for future generations.
