She is the illustrator of Thanku: Poems of Gratitude and is currently creating her first Dakota culture coloring book, to be published early 2021.

"Under the Guidance of Haŋwí"
Augmented reality installation created in @adobeaero

This augmented reality piece features Haŋwí, the Dakota spirit of the moon, surrounded by symbols representing the 13 lunar months. She represents feminine power.

You can see her as part of the Creation.Story exhibition that's currently on view at @akta_lakota Museum and will later open at @theheritagecenter at Red Cloud Indian School this year.

I'm working on a number of Dakota AR pieces that'll be released this fall as part of a few projects: one is my commission with the City of St Paul public art at Uŋci Makha park and another is as part of the @4groundbiennial Midwest Land Art. These will be publicly accessible.

The tipi banner cover I designed is up at the Minneapolis NDN center for today's events.

You can check out all the banners and tipi at Boom Island (by the memorial) on Thursday at noon for the MMIW/MMIR National Day of Awareness. Swipe over for details on that!

Thanks to everyone who came out to listen to our @stagesofequity panel at @northhennepin community college. I learned a lot from my fellow artists and I hope more colleges have events like the stages of equity!

The Saturday print edition of the Star Tribune wil

The Saturday print edition of the Star Tribune will feature a story about my Dakota Spirit Walk augmented reality project, but you can check it out online too!

"I think augmented reality can be a metaphor for Indigenous connection to the land," said Myles. "We have always had these historical stories and they are there, but most people can't see them unless they have a Native person telling them, seeing it through their eyes. This can open people's eyes."

A couple of announcements: the Hennepin County Lib

A couple of announcements: the Hennepin County Library now has Native library card designed by me that features Dakota and Ojibwe languages! They also put together Native booklists that you can pick up in person.

Secondly, I'm excited to be on the @hclib Mary Ann Key Book Club panel to discuss the book, "An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States for Young People." I'll be joined by columnist Myron Medcalf and moderator Ramona Kitto Stately in an online conversation with Native American community leaders Sharon Day, Dr. Katie Phillips and Pearl Walker-Swaney.
