FREE WORKSHOP: Augmented Reality as a Storytelling Device

As part of the Frozen River Film Festival in Winona, Minnesota, you are invited to join Dakota artist and filmmaker Marlena Myles to explore augmented reality (AR) as a tool for immersive storytelling.

In this workshop, participants will view her film Realms of Resilience and learn how Marlena uses AR to activate landscapes and deepen narratives. Marlena will share her creative process, from drawing inspiration to designing AR experiences, and guide attendees in brainstorming their own AR concepts.

Perfect for filmmakers and film enthusiasts seeking innovative ways to engage audiences.
